Gioia’s professionaljourney has taken her to various countries, from Colombia and the US, to Braziland Palestine. Starting her career in microfinance and sustainable investingand working in the science diplomacy field for over a decade, Gioia ispassionate about, and committed to, solving the most pressing global challengesthrough fostering dialogue, collaboration and innovation.

Since January 2026, Gioiais the Co-CEO of Linden Live Learning Labs, where he focus lies on strategicpositioning and ensuring stakeholder value for the company’s impact platforms.Before that, she held the position of Director of Strategy for InvestmentPromotion at Switzerland Global Enterprise, and CEO of InnHub La Punt, a newinnovation center in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Prior to her return toSwitzerland in 2022, she held CEO positions at Swissnex in San Francisco and inRio de Janeiro, and served Deputy Consul General for Switzerland.

Gioia sits on variousAdvisory Boards and is the President of the Swiss-based associationMySurvivalStory – a storytelling platform to support cancer survivors. In 2019and 2020, Gioia was selected one of the Top 100 Women in Business.

Gioia holds a Master’sdegree in International relations from the Graduate Institute (IUHEID) inGeneva, Switzerland, and a second Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from theFletcher School in Medford/Boston, USA, as well as a Certificate in VentureCapital from UC Berkeley Extension. In 2021, Gioia completed the InnerMBA program,a new mindfulness-based leadership program offered by NYU.  

Gioia is fluent in German,English, French, Spanish and Portuguese – and, together with her Mexicanhusband, strives to raise her two sons as responsible global citi
