Landscape Architect & Founder Enea Tree Museum

Enzo Enea is a trained industrial designer who studied landscape architecture in London. In 1993, he founded his own landscape architecture and horticulture company. Today, the firm employs more than 240 people and is headquartered in Rapperswil-Jona, with additional offices in Zurich, Miami, New York, and Milan.

Enea Landscape Architecture collaborates with numerous internationally renowned architectural practices, including Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield, Christoph Ingenhoven, Rem Koolhaas, and Tadao Andō. The Swiss landscape architecture firm realizes projects worldwide for private clients, developers, corporations, and public institutions. Its portfolio includes private gardens and terraces, hotel and restaurant gardens, holiday resorts, and outdoor spaces for corporate headquarters. The company develops complex green space and open-space concepts for international metropolitan cities such as Beijing, São Paulo, and Miami.

Enzo Enea’s design philosophy centers on the seamless integration of outdoor and indoor spaces. Both he and his company have received numerous national and international awards for their work.

In 2010, Enzo Enea opened the world’s only tree museum in Rapperswil-Jona, bringing his long-held vision to life. In the park, which he designed himself, the entrepreneur and creative director demonstrates how landscape, architecture, art, and design can be integrally connected.
